You are probably wondering why on earth am I attempting crafts over here on my healthy food blog. Yes, I may have gone crazy because I am not a crafter. I buy crafts from those talented, crafty people, and I stick to the kitchen. It’s safe in there, especially in the pantry, with all that food.
I keep touting this idea of health food, which comes nowhere near holidays filled with candy and sugar. So, I’m trying on a different attitude. What if on these holidays and events I focus more on the FUN, rather than the FOOD? What if I focus on making memories rather than making cookies? Do I want my kids to remember the games we played or the treats we made? Honestly, both can be positive, but I’m choosing FUN.
Who’s with me?!
My 6 year old thinks these Minecraft Valentines look WAY more fun than a bite sized Snickers. I found something similar over on the See Jane Blog, but now I can’t find the post…so we went wild and made our own.
My first grader can’t wait to hand these out to his friends, build more of these blocks, and stack things. You know….boy stuff.
As my Valentines to you, I’ve created a free pdf, click HERE to open. Print as many as you like on an 8 1/2 x 11 page of card stock. Tip: Not all printers are cardstock friendly. Try a couple pages before you click “Print 20”! Make sure the paper is aligned the right way in your printer settings (landscape). Each page has 2 Valentines, so cut right down the middle of the page to separate the two Valentines. A straight edge works miracles here. As a thank you, please pin this over on Pinterest. If you feel inclined to repost on your own blog or social media, please please please do not include the download, instead direct traffic back where you found it….right back here.
Many thanks, and stick around for more FUN Valentines ideas!
